A trip to the cultural and religious highlights in the Kathmandu Valley combined with a 3-day jungle excursion. In Kathmandu, you can visit Swayambunath (known as the “Monkey Temple”), Pashupatinath (the highest Hindu sanctuary in Nepal on the sacred Bagmathi River), Durbar Square with the Living Goddess’ Palace, Kumari Devi, as well as explorations through the Kathmandu’s local neighbourhood. During your 3-day jungle excursion to Chitwan National Park you will have the opportunity to admire the diverse flora and fauna in southern Nepal. You make excursions on foot, by canoe and on the back of an elephant. Observe the rare rhinoceros and, with a little luck, the shy and rare tiger. Transfers from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park and back are carried out individually with private vehicles with driver.*
