Comments:
An adventurous trip to a region of China, which is not very developed for tourism (nights in sometimes very simple guest houses !). The trek goes up to a max. altitude of 5000m at the pass; good physical condition and fitness is a must for this trip. Overnight stays during the trek are in tents. The sacred mountain Minya Konka (altitude: 7556m) is the highest mountain in Sichuan Province and borders the provinces of Kangding, Luding and Jiulong. Around this summit there are about 145 peaks over 5000m altitude.*
