04.02.2020: Nepal: Flights from Kathmandu to Lukla are operated from March to May and from September to November (currently planned) from Ramechap, Manthali (approx. 130 KM / 4 hours journey time from Kathmandu). This (according to the Nepalese authorities) due to congestion at Kathmandu airport. This means increased costs for travellers as 2 longer transfers from /to Kathmandu have to be scheduled.
04.02.2020: Tibet trips: our Tibet trip ITT001 (Trekking from Yilhun Lhatso to Dege) is new in our program. A very interesting trip with an 8-day, medium-heavy trek and visits to active monasteries.

Since March 2017, the visa for Nepal online can be pre-applied. This then makes the procedure for the visa on site (Airport Kathmandu) easier and faster (since all data are already available online).
